WOW it has been a while since we set off on this adventure. When we started this website and creating these trip plans we thought, what is one more step in the process? Well for us and our overly involved kids it was harder than we thought.
One of our objectives for 2025 is to be more consistent with this side venture. We don't know what that means just yet but I will tell you that this post is announcing that, if you are reading this, you now know we are planning our trip to Canada this summer.
Selfishly I was hoping that it would be just a neighboring state by the time we went but nevertheless, we visited the local Postal Service to get our passports so we are OFFICIALLY ready to explore Canada!
If you have seen any of our other trips, Canada will look a bit different for us. We are a national park, pitch a tent and sleep with the bears, type of fa
mily. This trip, is full of luxury...well at least for us. Brittany just booked a few hotels (what??? real beds??) and a cool clear igloo dome in the middle of the Canadian Rockies. As much as I love to roll out my sleeping mat each night and listen to the kids giggle about who farted in their sleeping bag, I might be a bit excited about nightly showers and not getting eaten by a bear while using the bathroom at night.
Check back soon as we start walking through the planning process. Who knows maybe we will even get really uncomfortable and make a few videos for this trip.
